Juliet has just made her grand entrance to life!  Here she is at only 4 days old.  More to come later!

Tisha and Blake were married in July at St John’s and City Club!  They had the most delicious looking candy bar, just scroll down and see for yourself!  Mmmmmmm……. (ok, it’s late in the evening and i may have a little bit of a sweet tooth after working on these pics!)  Full details coming soon!

Love that going away dress!!

Tisha has the sweetest smile!  We shot these months ago but i was waiting for her wedding to pass before posting.  Tisha is wearing a light golden dress, which is already a family heirloom!  Love when brides wear color!  Check back soon for her wedding post!

 If you look closely at the bottom of the bridge, you’ll see a sneaky gator!  His eyes poking out in the first pic and the tip of his nose in the second pic.  I took several shots without realizing he was there, until he started slowly raising himself out of the water, and opening his mouth real wide, about to take a bite of the dress.  Poor Tish, I must have freaked her out when i suddenly dropped my camera and screamed at her: “Pick up the dress!!!!  Pick up the dress!!!!”  She did, quickly, and we avoided what could have been a huge catastrophe!  It scared me enough to want to retire this shot, after 7 years without an incident.

Thought I’d share Eve’s 19 month portraits.  They were supposed to be 18 month portraits, but it took me forever to get around to shooting her, and even then she was not in the mood.  After riding all over Lafayette and failing to get anything usable, we ended up doing a quicky 10 minute session here in abbeville.  She was very upset about shooting until she saw her prop!!!  A gigantic lollipop!

What an amazing wedding and what an amazing couple!  They got married on June 25th in Lafayette.

My good friend Jamey is expecting her 3rd baby girl any day now, and of course we had to get pictures of that beautiful belly before it pops!  I also got to try out a couple of my fun new backdrops which i LOVE!

Emily and Wes tied the knot on May 14th at St John’s and had their reception at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.  The place looked amazing!  The details were clean and modern and a perfect fit for the location.  I’ll add all the vendor details soon…..for now here are a bunch of shots from their big day!

This gorgeous couple brought their sweet little dog along for the shoot.  I always love when i get the opportunity to shoot little furry friends at a portrait session!  (And check out the shoes!)  I’ll be shooting Tassie’s bridals tomorrow!!

 We were expecting a possibility of rain…. but we got lucky and stayed dry!
